Regional Warehouse and Transportation Manager Europe
Location: Belgium, with regular European travel
An international food manufacturing business is seeking a logistics leader to oversee its European warehouse and road transport operations. This role combines regional strategy, supplier management and operational improvement across a complex outsourced logistics network.
Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse and road transport performance across Europe
- Manage 3PLs, carriers, service levels and escalations
- Develop regional logistics strategies and improvement plans
- Lead warehouse and transport tenders with procurement
- Improve OTIF, inventory accuracy, cost and productivity
- Optimise routes, warehouse utilisation and supplier performance
- Manage budgets and deliver measurable savings
- Support logistics digitalisation and process standardisation
Your background
- European multi-country logistics leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and road transport operations
- Proven 3PL, carrier and tender-management experience
- Track record of improving cost, service and operational performance
- Experience managing logistics budgets and KPIs
- Familiarity with WMS, TMS and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills
- Fluent English; additional European languages are beneficial
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe
