Senior Operations Manager (m/f/d) - European Road Transport
An established international logistics organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Manager Operations to lead a key European road transport operation. The position forms part of a long-term succession plan and offers significant scope for further leadership responsibility.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and motivate an operational team of 31 employees
- Take responsibility for the performance of European road transport operations
- Ensure high standards across service quality, compliance and operational efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement and the development of operational processes
- Work closely with senior management on the strategic development of the business
Your Profile
- At least 5 years of leadership experience within road transport or freight forwarding
- Strong operational knowledge of European road transportation
- Experience within food, temperature-controlled, pharmaceutical and/or GDP-compliant logistics
- Excellent communication skills combined with an empathetic and hands-on leadership style
- Fluent English, with German language skills highly advantageous
