Join a growing semiconductor design centre in Ireland working on advanced RF and analogue integrated circuits.
This opportunity would suit an experienced RF, analogue or mixed-signal IC designer who enjoys broad design ownership rather than being limited to one specific circuit function. You'll work alongside an experienced engineering team with opportunities to contribute across different technologies, frequencies and RF/analogue building blocks.
Our client are open to senior (5+ years) or principle-level (10+ years) IC design experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF and analogue integrated circuits from concept through simulation and implementation.
- Work across circuits such as amplifiers, mixers, oscillators and other RF/analogue blocks.
- Perform circuit design and simulation using Cadence/Virtuoso and Keysight ADS.
- Take ownership of designs and contribute to wider chip development.
- Collaborate closely with experienced IC designers across the development process.
- At Principal level, provide technical leadership and contribute to overall chip design strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in RF, analogue or mixed-signal IC design.
- Strong transistor-level IC design fundamentals.
- Experience with Cadence/Virtuoso; Keysight ADS experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with Silicon/SOI technology preferred, with GaN backgrounds also relevant.
- Experience designing RF blocks is beneficial, but strong analogue/mixed-signal designers with transferable high-speed or high-bandwidth experience will also be considered.
- Comfortable taking ownership of designs and working independently within a collaborative team.
- Open to experienced Senior, Staff and Principal-level profiles.
- Willingness to be based in Ireland (location to be disclosed on screening)
