Role: Sourcing Operations Lead
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Work-Model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Compensation Range: $80,000 to $96,000 base plus ~10% bonus
Overview
The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team partners with internal stakeholders to drive supplier value, sourcing excellence, contract compliance, and cost optimization. This role supports procurement operations through sourcing coordination, spend analysis, supplier management, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support category strategies, sourcing pipelines, savings tracking, and procurement reporting.
- Coordinate RFx activities, supplier communications, bid analysis, and stakeholder meetings.
- Analyze spend, supplier, pricing, and contract data to identify cost savings and process improvements.
- Manage contract administration, including renewals, obligations, and key terms tracking.
- Prepare supplier comparisons, business cases, dashboards, and decision-support materials.
- Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Support supplier onboarding, compliance, performance management, and business reviews.
- Act as a procurement resource for internal stakeholders, guiding sourcing and contracting processes.
- Maintain procurement records, templates, systems data, and audit documentation.
- Escalate complex supplier, commercial, contractual, or risk-related issues as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, contract administration, operations, consulting, or analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with contracts, purchasing processes, supplier interactions, and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with pivot tables, lookups, and reporting tools preferred.
- Experience with procurement, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics, or supplier management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
