Plant Manager
A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead all aspects of plant operations at a high-volume production facility in the Nashville area. This individual will be responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and continuous improvement while ensuring the facility meets customer and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and safety
- Lead, mentor, and develop salaried and hourly teams to achieve operational excellence
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity
- Manage budgets, operational KPIs, and overall plant performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including plant-level management
- Automotive manufacturing experience required
- Proven success leading high-volume production environments
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and team development
