One of our manufacturing clients is looking to bring on a hands-on production leader to guide its daily manufacturing operations. This person will play a key role in driving safety, quality, and productivity while overseeing and developing a team of production employees.
Qualifications for the Production Supervisor include:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Prior supervisory experience in a production environment preferred.
- Experience working within Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement-driven operations.
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience utilizing production metrics, root cause analysis, and process improvement tools to drive results.
- Must be eligible to work with ITAR-controlled information as required by company regulations.
Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor include:
- Lead production operations within the assigned department to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
- Supervise, train, and develop production employees to support performance and engagement goals.
- Manage staffing and resources to meet production demands and delivery expectations.
- Drive adherence to quality standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements.
- Evaluate operational performance and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Partner with plant leadership and support teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
