About the Role:
As the Site Procurement Specialist, you will be the procurement lead for all direct materials at the site, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance, and alignment with production needs. This is a pivotal role with visibility across operations, supply chain, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise a €20M annual spend on direct materials (metals, plastics, components, etc.)
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with global procurement and local production goals
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance reviews
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams
- Monitor market trends and risks to ensure supply continuity and cost competitiveness
- Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives within the supply base
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in direct procurement within a manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Analytical mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
