Sr Electrical Engineer
Support the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys project work, troubleshooting, and collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines to improve products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support electrical systems, control panels, wiring diagrams, and power distribution for manufacturing equipment.
- Develop electrical documentation, schematics, and testing procedures to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support automation initiatives, including PLC and HMI integration, system modifications, and equipment upgrades.
- Manage projects from concept through implementation while coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in product development, equipment validation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or automation environments.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards including UL, CSA, and CE.
- Experience with electrical design, power systems, industrial controls, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Experience with PLCs, CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.), and machine shop environments is a plus.
