Associate Category Insights Manager
A leading food and beverage organization is seeking an Associate Category Insights Manager to support category growth and commercial strategy across a portfolio of nationally recognized brands. This individual will leverage market data, shopper insights, and category analytics to influence customer strategies, identify growth opportunities, and support cross-functional business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze category, shopper, and sales data to uncover trends and growth opportunities.
- Develop strategic recommendations that support customer growth, brand performance, and category expansion.
- Create customer presentations, category reviews, assortment recommendations, and business insights.
- Partner with Sales teams to build data-driven selling stories and customer strategies.
- Track category performance, competitive activity, promotional effectiveness, and market share trends.
- Support commercialization efforts for new products, programs, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Revenue Management.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring timely execution against business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Shopper Insights, Sales Analytics, or a related field.
- Consumer packaged goods (CPG) OR Food and Beverage industry experience preferred.
- Experience utilizing syndicated data, customer POS data, and market research tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI experience is a plus.
