Calibration Engineer
Overview
A global leader in semiconductor test and automation technology is seeking a Senior Calibration & Diagnostics Engineer to support next-generation memory test platforms. This role combines advanced C++ development, precision measurement, instrumentation, and hardware engineering.
The engineer will develop calibration algorithms, diagnostic architectures, and characterization strategies for sophisticated Automated Test Equipment (ATE), while providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement calibration and diagnostic software architectures.
- Develop calibration algorithms for precision measurement and instrumentation systems.
- Lead characterization strategies for new hardware platforms.
- Analyze measurement datasets to identify trends and performance limitations.
- Diagnose complex hardware/software interactions.
- Develop scalable frameworks for engineering, manufacturing, and customer diagnostics.
- Partner with hardware, FPGA, systems, manufacturing, and product engineering teams.
- Drive software quality, automation, and development best practices.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across key programs.
What You'll Bring
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Expert-level C++ development skills.
- Strong understanding of calibration methodologies and measurement science.
- Experience developing software that interfaces directly with complex hardware.
- Strong instrumentation and data analysis knowledge.
- Advanced debugging and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to solve complex hardware/software integration challenges.

- Signal Integrity, including eye diagrams and TDR.
