Base Salary Range: $73,000 - $85,000
Shift: Night (Thursday-Saturday)
Time: 6:00pm-6:30am ET
Join a leading food and dairy manufacturer seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee food safety, quality systems, and laboratory operations within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop laboratory and quality team members across assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with plant leadership to improve product quality, operational performance, and food safety standards
- Investigate and resolve quality, food safety, and production-related issues
- Maintain quality documentation, records, and reporting requirements
- Train employees on quality and food safety procedures while reinforcing a strong quality culture
- Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Science, or a related field preferred OR 2 years of high level plant-based laboratory experience
- Prior quality, laboratory, or food safety experience within a food or beverage manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, sanitation programs, and food safety systems
- Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring employees in a manufacturing setting
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer systems
