The Facilities Manager will serve as the primary facilities leader across a portfolio of restaurant locations, partnering closely with operations leadership, field teams, and service vendors to maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational facilities. This individual will have significant autonomy and ownership, making a direct impact on daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee facilities management activities across multiple restaurant locations throughout the region.
  • Manage preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance programs to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring timely service delivery and cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate and oversee work involving HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration systems, hood exhaust systems, commercial kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance.
  • Prioritize, assign, and monitor work orders to ensure completion within required service levels.
  • Utilize facilities management systems, including ResQ, to track repairs, maintenance activities, and vendor performance.
  • Partner closely with Regional Directors, Operations Leaders, and Field Operations teams to address facilities-related issues.
  • Support compliance initiatives, permitting activities, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root-cause investigations for recurring maintenance issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
  • Monitor facility conditions and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide oversight and direction to the Facilities Technician, ensuring accountability and workflow prioritization.
  • Respond with urgency to critical facility emergencies and operational disruptions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of facilities management experience in a multi-site environment.
  • Experience supporting restaurant, food service, hospitality, dining services, or similar operational environments.
  • Strong vendor management and contractor relationship experience.
  • Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and emergency repair activities.
  • Knowledge of building systems including:
    • HVAC
    • Plumbing
    • Commercial refrigeration
    • Hood exhaust and ventilation systems
    • Commercial kitchen equipment
    • General facilities maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of ResQ or similar facilities management platforms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale restaurant or hospitality operations.
  • Familiarity with New York City facilities regulations and operational requirements.
