Build the Supply Chain Behind Next-Generation Hardware

Our client is a fast-growing technology company designing and manufacturing proprietary hardware products that are deployed globally. As multiple new product lines move from concept to commercialization, they are seeking a highly capable Supply Chain Manager to help transform prototypes into scalable, mass-produced products.

This is not a traditional supply chain role focused on administration. You will be at the heart of product development, working directly with engineering, suppliers, manufacturers, and leadership to ensure critical components arrive on time, production ramps smoothly, and ambitious launch timelines are achieved.

Job Responsibilities

Drive Product Launch Success

• Partner closely with the shareholders to ensure new product development and mass production milestones are achieved.
• Act as a key link between Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Manufacturing teams.
• Identify and resolve supply bottlenecks before they impact project timelines.

Source Critical Components

• Own sourcing activities for prototype builds, engineering validation, and production requirements.
• Rapidly secure materials, components, and services required by hardware engineering teams.
• Manage supplier selection, RFQs, cost negotiations, lead-time management, and purchase orders.

Lead Supplier & Manufacturing Execution

• Build and manage strong relationships with component suppliers, manufacturers, EMS partners, and logistics providers.
• Track supplier performance, production schedules, deliveries, and inventory availability.
• Coordinate supplier payments and ensure smooth procurement operations.

Scale Products into Mass Production

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and manufacturing readiness.
• Drive production planning and component availability for product launches.
• Own supply chain execution for assigned product lines from prototype stage through mass production.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply risks, shortages, and lead-time challenges.

Improve and Optimize

• Continuously improve procurement, planning, and supplier management processes.
• Implement scalable systems and workflows that support rapid business growth.
• Use data-driven decision-making to improve cost, quality, speed, and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Planning and Strategic Sourcing.
• Experience supporting hardware, electronics, IoT, robotics, camera, sensor, telecommunications, or related products.
• Strong supplier management and commercial negotiation capabilities.
• Experience managing BOM-driven procurement and complex component sourcing.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong project management and execution skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, based in Shenzhen office.
