Title: Technical Sales Account Manager

Salary: $90 - $115k/yr + commission

Company Summary:

The Technical Sales Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, owning relationships, communications, issue resolution, and overall program performance.
  • Manage the entire program lifecycle from RFQ and quoting through NPI, production ramp-up, ongoing manufacturing, and final shipment.
  • Drive program execution by managing timelines, milestones, priorities, and delivery performance to ensure on-time, on-spec results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to lead engineering change (ECN) implementation and coordinate corrective actions for quality, cost, and delivery issues.
  • Escalate risks and operational challenges while providing solutions to leadership and ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Manage excess and obsolete inventory in partnership with Supply Chain and Finance.

The Technical Sales Account Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, electronics manufacturing services (EMS), or PCB manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to interpret Gerber files, layout drawings, BOMs, and other engineering documentation.
  • Technical background with an Engineering degree or equivalent engineering/manufacturing experience.
  • Proven ability to blend technical sales, customer-facing account management, and project management while driving new business opportunities and customer solutions.
