Apparel Manufacturing Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned manufacturing professional to support apparel production across our global manufacturing network. This role will oversee both internal facilities and external manufacturing partners, driving operational excellence through process improvement, system optimization, and performance enhancements. The position will manage the Manufacturing Services team and work closely with cross‑functional supply chain partners to meet operational objectives. International travel will be required to collaborate with plant leadership and support automation and productivity initiatives.

The Apparel Manufacturing Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze operational and financial performance data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and capacity growth.
  • Build a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and production flows to recommend improvements that shorten lead times and enhance throughput.
  • Collaborate with plant leaders on initiatives related to safety, quality, delivery performance, and cost management.
  • Lead key initiatives including annual cost reviews, compliance and audit activities, capital equipment planning and execution, budgeting, and productivity improvement programs.
  • Provide technical and systems support to manufacturing sites and contract partners, including ERP systems (SAP), quality systems, and maintenance platforms-creating reports, evaluating data, and resolving system issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards related to inventory accuracy for raw materials, supplies, and work‑in‑process, as well as emergency preparedness requirements.

The Apparel Manufacturing Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in garment and apparel manufacturing
  • Proven leadership capability with experience developing and leading teams.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including cost center management and financial statement review.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; engineering or technical background preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
  • Spanish language skills preferred.
