IT Procurement Manager

This opportunity involves leading strategic sourcing efforts and managing supplier relationships as a Procurement Manager. The role includes guiding cross‑functional teams, negotiating complex agreements, and strengthening supplier partnerships that enhance operational performance and organizational value.
Key Responsibilities
- Support or lead negotiations and contract oversight for major enterprise‑level purchasing agreements, working closely with senior team members when needed.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear supplier expectations.
- Identify and assess potential suppliers, including analyzing financial viability and overall capability.
- Direct cross‑functional teams through supplier evaluation processes, including formal RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Conduct analytical reviews focused on total cost of ownership and provide data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- Continuously identify cost‑reduction opportunities and spearhead initiatives to achieve measurable savings.
- Oversee supplier performance, serving as an escalation point for issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
- Develop category strategies that align with broader organizational goals, market conditions, and competitive insights.
- Guide internal partners through new technology, product, or service implementation and adoption.
Education
- Degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in procurement contract negotiation and contract administration.
- 1+ year of experience with e‑procurement tools or digital contract management platforms.
Skills
- Strong understanding of contract language, terms, and risk considerations.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to adapt approaches as needed.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives in a fast‑paced setting.
