Process Controls Engineer

Seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to support and improve process control systems across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role will focus on PLC programming, SCADA support, electrical troubleshooting, system upgrades, and equipment startups while partnering closely with operations and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC and SCADA systems
  • Support electrical installations, equipment startups, and automation projects
  • Troubleshoot process control and electrical issues to improve plant reliability
  • Maintain and update electrical drawings, schematics, and control documentation
  • Coordinate with contractors and support capital project execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ years of controls and automation experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with Rockwell Automation PLCs and SCADA systems
  • PlantPAx experience required
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills

Location: Eastern U.S. preferred
Travel: Up to 40%
