Summary:

As a Process Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, estimating, maintaining, and optimizing control systems for large-scale industrial operations. You will support facility upgrades, new construction, and ongoing modernization efforts with an emphasis on reliability, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate electrical and process control cost estimates for new facilities and plant upgrades.
  • Design complete control systems including PLC logic, HMI interfaces, network architecture, and control schematics.
  • Lead and coordinate project activities, schedules, and contractors to meet established milestones.
  • Review capital and maintenance projects to ensure technical accuracy, feasibility, and cost alignment for control systems.
  • Support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives while identifying and applying emerging control technologies.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience designing or installing industrial control systems, ideally in heavy manufacturing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley, GE, Wonderware, and Pi Historian.
  • Experience with PLC and HMI programming, control networks, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
