Vice President of Sales
Overview
We're seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead strategy and growth within the top 50 national residential builders. This executive will oversee program management, strengthen national relationships, and drive product penetration across installing dealer networks, sales and service locations, and distribution centers.
The ideal leader brings a proven ability to influence large builder organizations, develop strategic programs, and deliver profitable revenue growth.
What You'll Do
- Build and deepen relationships with national residential builders to become their primary point of contact.
- Identify high‑value opportunities and align internal teams to pursue and win strategic deals.
- Develop financial models, analyze targeted opportunities, and assess ROI.
- Manage product incentive programs, ensuring they meet both revenue and margin goals prior to payout.
- Collaborate with business leaders to track, measure, and communicate performance.
- Lead cross‑functional communication and partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and customer analysis to ensure solutions meet builder needs.
- Lead and mentor a team of Specialists to drive profitable growth and meet annual channel objectives.
What You Bring
- MUST bring 10+ years of account management experience working directly with national builders.
- Proven leadership of at least $60M in product sales to national builders.
- Demonstrated success driving profitable revenue growth.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience working directly with garage door dealers.
- Strong background in project and program development.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to influence at all organizational levels with a persuasive, collaborative presence.
- A hands‑on, problem‑solving leadership style paired with strong business acumen.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
