The Account Executive has these key Responsibilities:
- Build and grow relationships with customers and suppliers to drive sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records including forecasts, pipelines, and call notes
- Share market insights and competitor intelligence to support strategic decisions
- Take full ownership of assigned accounts and seek cross-selling opportunities
The Account Executive should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred
- At least 2 years of inside sales experience required
- 1+ years of outside sales experience with a strong track record preferred
(Experience in technical, distribution, or chemical sales is a plus) - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a bonus)
- Willingness to travel overnight (~15%) for trade shows, training, etc.
