Role Overview

Our client, an international extrusion/protective films manufacturer, is looking for a proactive and self-driven Account Manager for Germany & Western Europe. In this role, you will manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, expand, and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Acquire new customers across trade and end-user segments
  • Analyse customer needs and advise on film/packaging solutions
  • Identify market trends and develop new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with R&D and Product Management on customer-specific solutions
  • Prepare quotations, conduct price negotiations, and lead annual reviews
  • Deliver product training for customers (on-site and at the training centre)
  • Support marketing initiatives
  • Report directly to the Sales Director Export

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in business or engineering
  • 3+ years international B2B sales experience, ideally within plastics or packaging
  • Fluent in English and German; French is a strong advantage
  • Strong communication, sales drive, and team mindset
  • High self-motivation and willingness to travel
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with strong negotiation skills
  • Independent, results-oriented, international working style
  • Confident using MS Office and CRM tools
