Business Development Manager

Our client is a global leader specializing in industrial packaging, logistics and digital services. They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand their footprint across the New England region. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for building relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industries in the New England area.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, operations) to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial packaging sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing major accounts within the CPG sector
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the New England region.
