Business Development Manager

Access World is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Ontario, Canada. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in freight forwarding-across air, ocean, and road-and a deep understanding of warehousing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and establishing a strong presence in the Canadian market. Reporting directly to the Managing Director in Toronto, the BDM will work on a hybrid schedule, with 1-2 in-office days per week.

As a Business Development Manager at Access World, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint across Canada and beyond. This is a strategic sales position that requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and a deep understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics industry. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet complex supply chain needs.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and has a proven ability to build and maintain strong commercial relationships. You should be confident navigating the intricacies of international freight-whether by air, ocean, or road-and be able to speak credibly about warehousing and distribution services. Your ability to understand client pain points and translate them into actionable logistics solutions will be key to your success.

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry who can substantiate their track record of high performance, resilience, and sales excellence. We're looking for someone who is not only experienced but also highly motivated and performance-driven. You should be able to demonstrate a history of exceeding targets, winning new accounts, and contributing to long-term business growth. A strong presence in the Ontario market is preferred, along with the ability to work independently while staying connected to a global team.
