DSJ Global is proud to be partnering with a leading multinational logistics provider to support the expansion of its commercial team in Italy. Our client, a global player in international freight forwarding, is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive growth across its sea and air freight divisions.

Role Overview

This professional will play a key role in developing new business opportunities within the international sea and air freight sector. This position focuses on expanding the customer portfolio, strengthening market presence, and contributing to the company's continued growth both nationally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage new B2B commercial relationships with import/export customers.
  • Promote sea and air freight solutions in close collaboration with operational and pricing teams.
  • Assess client logistical requirements and provide tailored, value-driven proposals.
  • Track market dynamics, competitor activities, and global trade flow trends.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Ensure achievement of revenue and margin objectives.
  • Work closely with domestic branches and international partners to support the development of new trade lanes and business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience within freight forwarding or international logistics.
  • Strong understanding of major air and sea trade routes and global transportation dynamics.
  • Ability to interpret and negotiate rates with airlines, ocean carriers, and overseas agents.
  • Demonstrated business development capabilities and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problemsolving competencies.
  • Fluency in English (required); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Solid command of digital tools and commercial CRM systems.
