The Role
As Category Manager - MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across a diverse portfolio of indirect spend. You'll play a key role in driving value, sustainability, and innovation across the MRO category, supporting manufacturing and operational sites across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic sourcing and category management of MRO across multiple sites.
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business goals and transformation objectives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure service excellence and cost optimisation.
- Identify and deliver savings opportunities through negotiation, supplier consolidation, and process improvement.
- Support the digitalisation and standardisation of procurement processes.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in MRO category management, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Experience working in a transforming or evolving procurement environment is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organisation.
