A leading organization in the pharmaceutical sector is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Procurement Manager to support their Clinical Development and Operations departments. This hybrid role is based in Parsippany, NJ, and offers the chance to lead sourcing strategies, optimize supplier relationships, and contribute to the advancement of innovative products and therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for clinical categories, including CROs, Site Monitoring, and Clinical Supply Chain.
- Lead supplier selection, RFPs, contract negotiations, and vendor management efforts.
- Partner with clinical and operational teams to ensure procurement aligns with development needs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA and HIPAA guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Strategic Sourcing Expertise: Proven ability to manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and lead contract negotiations.
- Clinical Trial Knowledge: Deep understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and study designs.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use data analytics to drive efficiency and transparency in sourcing decisions.
- Vendor Management: Experience building robust supplier relationships to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
