Continuous Improvement Manager

Summary

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading operational excellence initiatives across a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on driving process improvements, increasing productivity, enhancing quality and safety performance, reducing costs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The position partners with cross-functional teams to implement Lean and continuous improvement methodologies while supporting overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead process improvement initiatives that drive measurable business results.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Standard Work, and other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement projects, workshops, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Analyze manufacturing and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage a portfolio of improvement and capital projects, ensuring successful execution and sustainability.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Support change management efforts and help build a culture centered on continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable quality, safety, and operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent preferred.
