Job Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in facilities electrical distribution, thermal coating processes, titanium ingot production, and technical troubleshooting.
- Manage interactions with internal teams and external contractors throughout project design, costing, quoting, and execution involving electrical systems, controls, and automation upgrades.
- Coordinate, support, and implement electrical system installations and improvement projects.
- Provide engineering support for both internally and externally executed projects.
- Utilize Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement methodologies for equipment and process enhancements.
- Perform HMI programming and troubleshooting tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Allen-Bradley PLCs and RSLogix programming environments.
- Work with SCADA platforms including Rockwell FactoryTalk and Aveva/Wonderware.
- Review and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
- Collaborate with automation and robotics teams to provide technical support.
- Apply NEC, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 79 standards in engineering work.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years of electrical or programming experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification required. Visa sponsorship not available.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Computer Engineering.
- Previous manufacturing-based electrical/programming experience.
- Experience with facility electrical power distribution (12.47 kV to 120 V).
- Hands-on PLC programming project experience.
- Project management experience.
- Background in TPM or maintenance management.
- Continuous improvement experience (e.g., Six Sigma certification).
- HMI programming proficiency.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix, and related Rockwell Automation platforms.
- Familiarity with Ignition SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems under 600 V.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or SolidWorks Electrical.
- Experience with industrial robots (e.g., Motoman or similar).
- Understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 79 compliance.
