Job Summary
A fast‑growing AI-Cloud technology firm is seeking a Data Center Logistics Specialist to manage end‑to‑end logistics, inventory accuracy, and asset lifecycle operations across large‑scale datacenter environments. This role ensures smooth material flow, precise asset tracking, and reliable operational support for high‑performance compute infrastructure. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is highly detail‑oriented, and brings strong experience in logistics, inventory control, and datacenter or technology operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full asset lifecycle from receipt through decommissioning, including tagging, labeling, and maintaining accurate asset database records.
- Manage inbound and outbound equipment shipments; verify counts, inspect for damage, and update tracking systems in real time.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain 99%+ accuracy; monitor stock levels and resolve shortages proactively.
- Fulfill part and equipment requests for datacenter technicians and engineers; maintain organized staging and deployment areas.
- Coordinate with vendors for RMAs, warranty claims, and equipment replacements; arrange secure access for third‑party personnel.
- Generate detailed inventory reports, dashboards, and performance analyses; document processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain within a technology or manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools for reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in hyperscale or large colocation datacenter environments.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, and asset tracking databases.
- Knowledge of IT hardware including servers, storage, networking, and related datacenter components.
- Strong organization, time‑management, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
