Director of Operations

Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end operations including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, procurement and quality assurance
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet production targets, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain high product quality
- Implement and sustain Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures to ensure financial performance
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer service teams to align operations with business goals
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all facilities
- Drive automation and technology adoption to enhance productivity and scalability
- Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
- Lead capacity planning and capital investment projects to support growth and expansion
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership within the packaging, manufacturing or related industry
- Proven track record of managing multi-site operations and leading large teams
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production planning, and process optimization
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other operational excellence methodologies (certification preferred)
- Demonstrated success in driving cost saings, efficiency improvements, and quality enhancements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, data analytics, and performance management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on leadership style
