Director, Supply Chain and S&OP

SUMMARY

This leadership role is primarily focused on leading supply planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) across a complex multi-site manufacturing network throughout North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening and standardizing S&OP processes, balancing demand, capacity, inventory, and customer service objectives, improving working capital performance, and driving alignment across manufacturing sites, operations, procurement, logistics, finance, and commercial teams. The position will play a critical role in helping the organization navigate ongoing transformation initiatives, enhance planning capabilities, improve service levels and OTIF performance, and proactively manage supply and inventory risks across the network.

This position is designed as a strategic leadership development opportunity for a high-potential supply chain executive who can successfully transition from planning leadership into broader end-to-end supply chain responsibility and senior executive leadership over time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead supply chain strategy, supply planning, and S&OP execution across a multi-site manufacturing network throughout North America.
  • Drive alignment between demand, capacity, inventory, and customer service objectives to support business growth and operational performance.
  • Serve as the primary link between executive leadership and site-level supply chain organizations, promoting consistency and standardization across the network.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Commercial, Customer Service, HR, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve inventory performance, working capital, customer service levels, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Champion supply chain transformation initiatives, including process improvement, organizational change, and planning capability development.
  • Establish scalable planning processes, performance metrics, and best practices across multiple facilities and business units.
  • Lead scenario planning and risk management efforts to address demand shifts, capacity constraints, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Influence and develop high-performing teams within a highly matrixed environment while driving alignment across diverse functions and locations.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, helping shape the future direction of the supply chain organization and supporting long-term succession planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and significant experience in supply chain, planning, manufacturing, or operations leadership.
  • Strong background in S&OP, supply planning, inventory management, and supply chain strategy.
  • Experience leading within a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
