Overview:
A well-established wood manufacturing facility in Beaumont, MS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead its safety and environmental compliance efforts. This leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the site's EHS programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace for all employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the site's health, safety, and environmental programs in alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Develop and enforce policies to ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Deliver training programs for employees, supervisors, and contractors on safety procedures and environmental practices.
- Oversee incident investigations, manage workers' compensation claims, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting of all safety and environmental metrics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders on EHS matters.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as ASP or CSP are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
