About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Manager to lead our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives at our manufacturing site. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability across the facility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Lead training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and environmental practices.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and ensure timely resolution of any findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into daily operations and new projects.
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal, air and water permitting, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead safety initiatives and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
