About the Job
DSJ is currently partnered with a well established packaging company in Georgia looking to add a dynamic EHS professional to their team. This individual will be responsible for driving safety and environmental excellence across multiple departments. Some of these departments include managing compliance with OSHA and EPA standards, leading audits and aligning safety goals with production and quality KPIs.
EHS Manager Key Responsibilities
- Lead and strengthen EHS programs across multiple sites and teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and boost employee engagement in safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and safety training with cross‑functional teams.
- Support emergency preparedness and lead incident investigations.
- Partner with operations to align EHS initiatives with production, quality, and efficiency goals.
EHS Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of EHS management experience
- Proven ability to develop innovative, practical solutions using sound, logic, and problem‑
- Solid understanding of business operations, including planning, training, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Extensive experience managing regulatory compliance, permitting, reporting, and interpreting OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations, and related industry standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce clear reports, presentations, and documentation.
