Environmental & Sustainability Specialist

We design and manufacture advanced enclosures, racks, and accessories, including high-efficiency power management and climate control systems for industrial, data center, outdoor, and hybrid applications.
We are seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Specialist to lead initiatives that drive compliance, sustainability, and progress toward Net Zero goals. This role will maintain and enhance our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement impactful environmental programs across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop environmental compliance requirements.
- Support and improve the ISO 14001 management system.
- Design and implement energy and resource conservation programs to reduce environmental impact.
- Define sustainability targets and establish benchmarks to measure progress.
- Promote a strong environmental and sustainability culture throughout the organization.
- Manage relationships with external contractors (e.g., waste management), agencies, and local authorities.
- Represent the organization's sustainability efforts with customers and integrate expectations internally.
- Plan, organize, and conduct internal environmental audits.
- Deliver environmental and sustainability training across departments.
- Prepare executive-level communications, including reports, findings, and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing sustainability.
- Environmental or sustainability certification preferred (e.g., NEBOSH Environmental Certificate).
- Experience calculating Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon emissions and implementing reduction strategies.
- Familiarity with product carbon footprints (PCF) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).
- Background in production/manufacturing environments.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Results-oriented, goal-driven, and adaptable with a transformation mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
