Electrical Engineer (On-Site)
Location: Greater Pittsburgh Area
Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 + 10% Bonus
About:
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a global specialty chemicals manufacturer seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the reliability and performance of plant power systems. This position will be responsible for electrical distribution infrastructure, equipment reliability initiatives, capital project support, and troubleshooting critical plant systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support plant power distribution systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and VFDs.
- Lead electrical troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Support capital projects from design through implementation.
- Develop and maintain electrical documentation and system standards.
- Ensure compliance with plant electrical safety programs and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting plant power systems and electrical distribution equipment.
- Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and VFDs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Chemical, petrochemical, or process manufacturing experience preferred.
