Role Overview
This role is part of the company's protein and food ingredients division, which supplies nutritious, high‑quality food products to customers ranging from grocery retailers and foodservice operations to manufacturers and export partners.
The Electrical Reliability Engineering Supervisor plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations by designing and improving equipment layouts, workflow processes, and safety systems. This professional ensures adherence to relevant safety and engineering standards while evaluating plant performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. The role focuses on enhancing productivity, reducing downtime and waste, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement systems and practices that support workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Coordinate and deliver technical and operational training programs across production teams.
- Identify bottlenecks in equipment, processes, and production flow; recommend solutions to improve performance.
- Establish and monitor metrics to assess equipment capability, plant throughput, and operational output.
- Ensure alignment with applicable engineering, electrical, and safety standards.
- Lead and develop a technical team, including responsibilities for coaching, talent development, hiring, performance management, and corrective actions.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum four years of experience in automation, electrical systems, or instrumentation (AEI).
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
