Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead large‑scale capital projects across multiple manufacturing sites. This role is fully remote with approximately 50% regional travel, primarily throughout the Midwest (NE, KS, CO, IA, MO, WI). The position supports a growing engineering organization with a strong project pipeline and long‑term stability, offering exposure to diverse product lines and complex, high‑value initiatives.

As The Engineering Project Manager You Will...

  • Lead end‑to‑end capital projects from early concept and scoping through execution, startup, and project closeout.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across different manufacturing sites, with typical project values consistently ranging from $10M-$30M+.
  • Develop and manage detailed project scopes, budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and cost forecasts.
  • Coordinate and oversee external vendors, OEMs, contractors, and engineering service providers, ensuring safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to align project objectives with plant needs.
  • Lead projects spanning new equipment installations, processing lines, utilities, facilities, warehousing, conveyor systems, and infrastructure upgrades-not limited to equipment‑only work.
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership on project status, milestones, costs, and timelines.

As The Engineering Project Manager You Should Have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
  • Proven experience leading complex manufacturing capital projects $10M+, with hands‑on ownership of scope, budget, schedule, and vendor management.
  • Multi‑site project experience supporting different product lines and facility environments.
  • Strong background in facilities, utilities, and infrastructure projects in addition to equipment‑based initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage variable project loads and shifting priorities week‑to‑week.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to walk through and clearly articulate complex projects previously led, including scoping approach, execution strategy, and outcomes.
