Flexo Press Operator

DSJ Global is currently partnered with an industry leading card printer and manufacturer who is looking to expand their team in Greensboro, NC with a new Flexo Press Operator. The Flexo Press Operator will produce high quality products utilizing water base and UV Flexo inks. The Flexo Press Operator will also lead and coordinate the activities to ensure the production of a quality product.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads daily production activities and provides direction to the team to ensure consistent, high‑quality output.
• Utilizes advanced expertise in water‑based and UV flexographic inks to deliver superior print quality.
• Independently manages production runs and trains junior and mid‑level operators across department equipment.
• Monitors workflows, equipment performance, and machine speeds to maximize efficiency and throughput.
• Serves as a technical expert in the functional area and supports departmental leadership as needed.
• Evaluates new substrates, materials, and equipment, partnering with vendors and recommending improvements.
• Maintains strong safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance, following all SOPs and ISO‑related requirements.
• Stays current with industry technologies and advises leadership on updates or process enhancements.
• Regularly meets or exceeds production targets and departmental performance goals.
• Performs additional duties that support the effective operation of the production area.

Position Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of Flexographic printing
• Strong understanding of color theory

• Basic proficiency using the internet, Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Monarch

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as needed
