About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Global Supply Chain Director to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations across Germany and international markets. As a key member of the executive team, you will drive operational excellence, sustainability, and innovation in a fast-paced packaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee procurement, production planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution across multiple sites.
- Lead the implementation of S&OP processes to ensure demand and supply alignment.
- Optimize inventory levels and reduce supply chain costs while maintaining high service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sales, R&D, and finance.
- Drive digital transformation and sustainability initiatives across the supply chain.
- Manage global supplier relationships and negotiate strategic contracts.
- Ensure compliance with international trade and logistics regulations.
Your Profile
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in global supply chain leadership, preferably in the packaging or process manufacturing sector.
- Proven success in managing complex, multi-country supply chains.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and supply chain analytics.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, sustainability, and digital supply chain tools is a plus.
