- High-growth robotics / automation company is seeking a hands-on Senior Global Supply Manager to own structural and metal sourcing at scale
The Role
- Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for structural metals (steel, aluminum, and related alloys)
- Drive commodity strategy, supplier selection, and long-term partnerships for high-spend, business-critical categories
- Partner closely with engineering, operations, and construction teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability and cost optimization
- Lead supplier negotiations, capacity planning, and risk mitigation, balancing cost, quality, and delivery
- Forecast demand and manage raw material volatility, aligning procurement to large-scale deployment timelines
- Operate in a build-from-scratch environment, scaling supply base and processes alongside rapid company growth
- Experience in strategic sourcing or global supply management within hardware, industrial, or construction environments
- Strong background in metals (steel, aluminum, castings, or structural/mechanical commodities)
- Proven track record managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams on DFM and production ramp
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous, startup-style environment with high ownership
