Are you ready to lead a team shaping the next generation of pharmaceutical technology? At our client's agile and rapidly growing site in Switzerland, you will take technical and leadership ownership of interdisciplinary engineering teams and drive innovative solutions for their global customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team (mechanical, electrical, and automation) while ensuring smart and efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee the technical execution of international customer projects for pharmaceutical fill/finish systems, including filling, capping, cleaning, and integration of isolators.
  • Drive mechatronic concept development during both offer and project phases, balancing customer requirements, regulatory needs, and economic feasibility.
  • Manage development and execution of complex customer projects in close collaboration with project management, production, quality, and service teams.
  • Work directly with global customers, suppliers, and partners to align on technical requirements and deliverables.
  • Initiate and execute continuous improvement initiatives aligned with other engineering sites and central functions.
  • Evolve engineering standards, processes, and tools to increase quality, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Support technical sales, customer consulting, and participation in FAT/SAT activities worldwide.

What You Bring

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or a comparable field.
  • 10+ years of experience in special-purpose machinery, ideally within the pharmaceutical environment.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in technical teams.
  • Strong expertise in developing and standardizing mechatronic systems in a GMP-regulated environment-including validation and qualification.
  • High intercultural competence and confidence working with international teams and clients.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and managing technical change processes.
  • Willingness for occasional international travel (e.g., customer acceptances, trade fairs, coordination meetings).
  • Excellent command of German and English (C1+).
