IT Infrastructure Procurement (Financial Services)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end procurement activities, including processing purchase requests, creating purchase orders, and ensuring timely fulfillment of business requirements.
  • Source, evaluate, and engage external vendors to obtain competitive quotations while balancing cost, quality, and service delivery.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across technology, operations, finance, and business functions to support procurement initiatives and vendor-related requirements.
  • Coordinate logistics and shipment activities for hardware, equipment, and technology assets across the region.
  • Monitor purchase orders and supplier performance, proactively identifying and resolving delivery or supply-chain issues.
  • Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal controls, corporate policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with suppliers and finance teams to facilitate invoice processing and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor documentation within procurement systems.
  • Support regional procurement projects, process improvement initiatives, and vendor management activities as required.
  • Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and other ad-hoc business updates for management.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing operations, or vendor management, preferably within a technology-focused environment.
  • Exposure to procurement of IT hardware, software, infrastructure, networking equipment, or related technology services.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchasing best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement or ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Ariba, Coupa, GEP, or equivalent systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting procurement activities within a multinational or global organization.
  • Exposure to technology infrastructure purchasing, including servers, networking equipment, storage solutions, end-user devices, and software licensing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers across Greater China, including Mandarin language capability for commercial discussions and supplier coordination.
