IT Sourcing Manager
Job Summary
The Indirect Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost optimization efforts across IT-related categories within a multinational organization. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to enhance procurement performance across IT and facilities services. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence decision-making across multiple business units.
The position operates in alignment with global procurement strategies and leadership guidance from the organization's central indirect procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute category strategies for indirect goods and services, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives related to cost, quality, and supplier performance.
- Support sourcing strategy development across IT and other indirect categories using a structured sourcing methodology.
- Perform market analysis to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities within key spend areas.
- Establish and maintain strong supplier partnerships to secure favorable pricing, service levels, and supply continuity.
Contract Negotiation & Management
- Lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal commercial terms while balancing quality, service, and risk considerations.
- Ensure contracts are comprehensive, compliant, and designed to support long-term business needs.
- Monitor supplier adherence to contractual agreements in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate implementation of enterprise-wide supplier agreements across regional business units.
Procurement Project Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify procurement needs and build an annual pipeline of sourcing initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Track project status and maintain accurate reporting of sourcing activities.
- Align stakeholders across IT, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and business teams to drive timely decision-making and execution.
Cost Optimization Initiatives
- Deliver cost savings through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and operational efficiencies.
- Measure and report savings performance against annual targets.
- Contribute to cost-reduction workshops and continuous improvement efforts.
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to identify ongoing savings opportunities while maintaining service and quality standards.
- Support enterprise-level procurement initiatives led by global teams.
Process Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support implementation and adoption of procurement systems and tools.
- Maintain proper documentation to ensure audit readiness and traceability.
- Enforce supplier compliance with ethical, legal, and corporate responsibility standards.
Supplier Performance & Risk Management
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed service and quality metrics.
- Implement performance scorecards and conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers.
- Identify supply risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in category management, sourcing strategy, supplier management, and contract negotiation
- 4+ years of experience in indirect procurement, ideally with exposure to IT categories
- Familiarity with procurement platforms and ERP systems (e.g., e-sourcing tools)
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities related to cost savings and sourcing performance
- Knowledge of procurement compliance, governance frameworks, and supplier risk management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
