Lab Quality Operations Leader
This leadership role is focused on managing daily operations within a quality control laboratory environment. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of testing accuracy, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong coordination skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to foster collaboration across departments.
Core Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee daily technician assignments and lab resource allocation.
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous feedback to enhance team performance.
- Lead and support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes.
- Partner with other lab supervisors to identify and implement cross-functional improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and external regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain individual and team growth plans aligned with business goals.
- Participate in strategic departmental initiatives and contribute to long-term planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, with proven leadership capabilities.
- Solid understanding of ISO and IATF quality management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, based on operational needs.
