Job Title: Project Procurement Expeditor
Location: Onsite - industrial operations environment

Compensation: Competitive base salary (target range $70,000-$100,000 based on experience)
About the Role
A large, capital‑intensive industrial operator is seeking a Project Procurement Expeditor to support active construction and expansion initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring schedule certainty for long‑lead, high‑value equipment and materials across complex capital projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Own post‑purchase‑order expediting for project equipment, materials, and services
- Drive supplier follow‑ups on fabrication, inspection, testing, shipment, and delivery milestones
- Maintain detailed expediting logs, delivery trackers, and risk reports aligned to project schedules
- Partner with engineering, construction, project controls, and procurement teams to prevent schedule impact
- Identify potential supplier delays or bottlenecks, escalate early, and lead recovery actions
- Coordinate closely with EPC contractors and external suppliers
- Ensure compliance with commercial terms, safety requirements, quality standards, and documentation
- Support continuous improvement of expediting and supplier performance processes
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in expediting, project procurement, or supply chain
- Background in EPC, industrial manufacturing, construction, energy, mining, or heavy equipment environments
- Proven experience managing long‑lead, schedule‑critical equipment
- Strong ability to apply pressure, manage escalations, and recover delayed orders
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, site‑based project environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems and purchase order tracking tools
- Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Preferred Experience
- Capital project or facility expansion exposure
- Direct interface with EPC contractors
- Familiarity with construction or commissioning schedules
