Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer plays a vital role in optimizing plant operations by managing utilities, reducing equipment downtime, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. This position involves hands-on technical leadership, problem-solving, and project execution to ensure plant reliability, efficiency, and safety across production units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage plant utilities (boilers, steam, water, air) and drive initiatives to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.

  • Provide daily technical support to maintenance and production teams, assisting with troubleshooting and long-term problem-solving.

  • Develop, review, and optimize predictive and preventive maintenance programs using industry best practices (PM, PDM, RCM, TPM).

  • Lead improvement projects from planning and cost estimation to supervision, contractor oversight, and commissioning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering; 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in chemical or food processing industries.

  • Familiarity with industrial maintenance techniques and best practices, including CMMS systems and safety standards.
