Company Summary: A leading global food manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and innovation is seeking a Maintenance Lead to join its U.S. bakery facility. This company is committed to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across all production sites.
The Maintenance Lead will oversee maintenance operations and preventive maintenance programs during assigned shifts. This includes managing union maintenance technicians, driving equipment reliability, and ensuring production readiness. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and experience in managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.

- Lead and manage all aspects of Safety, Quality, and Line Efficiency for the assigned shift.
- Manage daily maintenance meetings and drive accountability for performance.
- Execute preventive maintenance programs, including run-time and planned maintenance activities.
- Provide feedback to update PM plans in CMMS (SAP).
- Prioritize and execute maintenance tasks related to safety and quality abnormalities.
- Support breakdown analysis and implement corrective actions to improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.
- Ensure timely start-up and readiness for production priorities.
- Manage union relationships and foster a positive work environment.
- Recruit, train, and develop maintenance technicians and shift leads.
- Ensure GMP compliance in tooling and workshop management.

Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience supervising maintenance or engineering staff in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with union employees.
- Strong technical foundation in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP preferred).
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in food manufacturing.
- Proven ability to lead preventive maintenance programs and manage talent development.
