A leading Food & Beverage manufacturing client is looking to bring a Maintenance Manager to one of their sites in Washington State.
My client processes over 800 million pounds of fruit annually, transforming apples, pears, peaches, berries, and more into a wide range of products including:
- Juices and juice concentrates
- Applesauce and fruit purées
- Dried fruits and fruit powders
- Formulated fruit and beverage solutions
As the Maintenance Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the reliability and efficiency of plant operations. You will:
- Lead and mentor a team of supervisors, mechanics, electricians, and support staff.
- Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Manage capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and food quality standards.
- Collaborate across departments and with external vendors to maintain and improve equipment and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related field (preferred).
- 3+ years in a maintenance leadership role or 5-7 years in mechanical/maintenance work.
- Strong knowledge of food manufacturing, electrical systems, PLCs, refrigeration, and steam systems.
- Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, GMPs, HACCP, and SQF standards.
