Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations at our automotive manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all plant equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in industrial maintenance, a passion for continuous improvement, and a commitment to operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, and mechanics. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Equipment Reliability: Ensure all machinery, robotics, and production systems are maintained to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures and process interruptions.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, and audits.
  • Budget Management: Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee procurement of parts, tools, and services.
  • Capital Projects: Support or lead capital improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and facility expansions.
  • CMMS Utilization: Oversee the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order tracking, asset management, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
